The For Dummies series seem to select the best authors on subjects they publish. Stock Investing for Dummies, Trading For Dummies, Stock Market for Dummies, Swing Trading For Dummies, Market Timing For Dummies, High-Powered Investing All-In-One For Dummies etc. Most of these books have 4 to 5 star ratings on the customer review websites.

Dalal Street Investment Journal’ s stock market book. This is the latest book which i went through and found very interesting with lots of examples and did u knows. They have also covered every area of investments in very lucid form.

i really want to get into this business, and want to learn a lot about it, it doesn’t necessary have to be for beginners as long as it’s the best in the field???

That’s good you want to get into it. I personally find it extremely exciting and wouldn’t dream about many other professions/hobbies (though I’ve always wanted to play ice hockey).

Anyway… the stock market itself is rather simple and you probably already know the basics if you are even interested in it. So I would recommend some books about actual investment strategies. A good place to look would be amazon, and just read the customers’ reviews.

There are many good books. For beginners, I would say Investing for Dummies.
Then when you have a bit of understanding, The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham (commented by Jason Zweig).
